Pennsylvania Prison Society has been providing assistance to incarcerated people and their families since 1787. They are working to ensure vital support networks are kept alive while someone is incarcerated, and provide a window into the closed world of prisons, exposing and addressing the most serious issues.
I was tasked with refreshing the annual report for the Pennsylvania Prison Society. The original was lacking consistency to the brand and was visually uninteresting, lacking imagery. I started by gathering inspiration from their web page and found photography everywhere. People are what drive this brand and including that imagery was very important to me. Besides that, making type hierarchies and using the color palette to divide content.
