Bob’s Garage: an auto-body shop with an important legacy. Tasked with rebranding any company, I took to preserve the old-school charm and give a modern twist to my late grandfather’s garage and auto body shop. This reimagined logo and new IOS app is able to update Bob’s Garage for today’s customers and allowing it to be catered towards the car owner.
Bob’s Garage is a family auto body shop that I wanted to explore and update. Creating a nostalgic logo was important to capture and using a vibrant color palette helped it pop. The updated logo features a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette, a car cherished by my grandpa, styled in a Memphis look it keeps to a bright nostalgic feel. This rebrand ensures the visual identity resonates with the customers and aligns to the brands founder. Beyond the visual identity of the brand, I also established a IOS presence to maintain and attract returning clients. The app serves as a hub for storing a car’s repair history, managing appointments, and offering live progress updates. Users can easily save detailed records of previous works, simplifying maintenance tracking and providing transparency to customers. For appointment scheduling, the app uses the car’s history to recommend upcoming service requirements, sending reminders for timely maintenance. Additionally, the app provides real-time progress updates for ongoing appointments, keeping customers informed and reassured throughout the process.
